Position Title: Virtual School Occupational Therapist
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Contract Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and identify areas of need.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific goals and needs.
• Provide direct therapy services through virtual platforms, using evidence-based practices and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational and functional goals.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' occupational therapy needs and goals.
• Offer guidance and training to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs in the virtual learning environment.
• Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in the field of occupational therapy and teletherapy.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a pediatric occupational therapist, preferably in a school setting.
• Experience with teletherapy or virtual service delivery is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IDEA, IEPs, and 504 Plans.
