Soliant is hiring: Full Time / Part Time Retail Pharmacist - Washington DC in Wa

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a 4-week assignment in Washington, DC. This role involves typical retail pharmacy duties, including opening and closing the pharmacy, overseeing and supporting pharmacy technicians, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and customer service. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a supportive team, ensuring all medication needs are met efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on the proper use of medications.
• Supervise and assist pharmacy technicians in daily operations, including order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Open and close the pharmacy, maintaining adherence to operational procedures and policies.
• Ensure pliance with federal and state regulations.
• Manage medication stock and process medication orders.
• Utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy software to manage prescription orders and patient data.

Required Qualifications:

• Licenses: Active pharmacist licenses in Washington DC are required. Candidates with additional licenses in Maryland (MD) and Virginia (VA) are highly preferred.
• Experience: Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential. Experience in managing pharmacy operations, including overseeing pharmacy staff, is also preferred.
• Software Experience: Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong munication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will be supported by a team of full-time and part-time pharmacy technicians to help with daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
