This person will work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager in updating, creating and maintaining policies and procedures

Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
Lead and manage AP team, contributing to a productive and comfortable environment
Manage procure-to-pay process, including regular payment schedule and ad hoc requests
Follows up on account statements, ensuring timely resolution of vendor concerns
Serves as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within AP
Assist accounting with research and audit requests as needed
Preferred qualifications for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or an AA in Accounting is a plus
Minimum 4 years AP experience, with experience in a supervisory role
Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures, and regulations.
Proficient with Excel is a must, experience with Great Plains preferred
Must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the Company vision; motivate, lead, and empower others to achieve Company goals.
Strong organizational and communication skills, team orientated philosophy, and problem-solving skills.
