The Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (IC IG) was established within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) by the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010. The IC IG's organizational divisions include Audit, Investigations, Inspections and Evaluations, Mission Support Division, the Center for Protected Disclosures, and Counsel to the Inspector General.
Mandatory Requirements:
Recognized expert on Europe and knowledge of the IC's analytic community following Europe. Superior ability to direct interagency, interdisciplinary IC teams against a range of functional and/or regional analytical issues. Superior interpersonal, organizational, and management skills to conceptualize and effectively lead complex analytic projects. Expert ability to work with and fairly represent the IC when analytic views differ among agencies. Superior communication skills, including ability to engage openly with senior leadership and communicate effectively with people at all staff levels, both internal and external to the organization, to give oral presentations and to otherwise represent the NIC in interagency meetings. Superior leadership and managerial capabilities, including the ability to effectively direct taskings, assess and manage performance, and support professional development of all levels of personnel. Superior critical thinking skills and the ability to prepare finished intelligence assessments and other written products with an emphasis on clear argumentation, organization, concision, and logical presentation. Exceptional writing and argumentation skills. Perform personnel management responsibilities with a focus on building a high performance workforce; promote team building and a collaborative work environment; ensure goals and performance objectives are understood; assess performance and provide timely feedback, recognition, and remediation. Bachelor's degree. Desired Requirements:
Graduate degree in related field. Published analysis on Europe-either within government or externally.
