We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our Accounts Payable (AP) and Treasury operations, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial data. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting/AP and Treasury departments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial reports.
2. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
3. Managing cash flow and forecasting, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
4. Leading internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
5. Coordinating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely year-end close and accruals.
6. Utilizing expert-level Excel skills to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to senior leadership.
7. Managing and developing AP and Treasury staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
8. Working closely with the finance team to integrate AP and Treasury functions with overall company financial strategy.
9. Utilizing JD Edwards and SAP systems to manage and monitor financial transactions and data.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Accounting/AP or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
3. Expert-level knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis techniques.
4. Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, and other financial management systems.
5. Strong understanding of general ledger functions, accruals, and year-end close procedures.
6. Proven experience with internal and external auditing.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to develop and motivate staff.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
10. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
