Senior Manager of Global Benefits
to join our People team at our
Culver City Hub
on a hybrid basis, working 2 days a week from the hub.

What You'll Do
This new role will lead a team of 3 ICs and support Scopely's global benefits program. You will drive solutions that improve employee experience, navigate fast-paced environments, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align benefits with company needs.
You have experience deploying global benefits solutions, thrive in complex environments, and are passionate about creating a great employee experience. You will help ensure Scopely's benefits and wellness programs are innovative and accessible to all employees globally. Ensure a competitive, global benefits portfolio aligned with local practices Oversee plan designs for Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, HSA/FSAs, 401(k), and more Manage benefits budget creatively to maximize ROI, including but not limited to deciding whether fully insured or self-insured is the best approach to Scopely Provide reporting on benefit utilization and support decision-making with cost analyses Maintain positive relationships with benefit providers to expedite services Oversee FMLA, Paid Family & Medical Leave, and LOA administration Partner with facilities to ensure HSE compliance at Scopely's hubs Manage interactions between leave policies and insurance plans Lead Open Enrollment, including plan renewals, employee communications, and leadership engagement Reconcile benefits accounts and approve billing statements Ensure policies are compliant with Federal and State laws Evaluate and manage benefits vendors and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficiency Lead new wellness and HSE programs to improve employee health and reduce costs Partner with other leaders within the People team, and ERGs to ensure that our benefits help to attract and retain talent Develop strategies to facilitate the integration of employees returning from extended LOA What We're Looking For
Proven experience in global benefits and corporate wellness of at least 8 years Knowledge of global benefits laws (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, PFL, etc.) Experience in fast-paced tech environments Ability to balance multiple priorities with minimal guidance Focus on employee experience with high EQ and leadership skills Strong organizational and project management skills Have led transition from self to fully-insured health plans Experience with LOA systems; Workday and Google Suite are a plus
For candidates in CA, CO, MD, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $137,700 - $169,900, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
