We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in the Parts Department of our Honda dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes efficiently to ensure the timely delivery of parts to our customers and the accurate intake of inventory. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do: Receive incoming shipments of parts, accessories, and supplies from various vendors. Inspect received items for accuracy, quality, and condition, and verify them against purchase orders. Organize and properly store received inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring ease of access and efficient inventory management. Process outgoing shipments of parts and accessories to customers, dealerships, and other destinations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels, in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory using computerized inventory management systems. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy. Assist customers and dealership staff with inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery status. Collaborate with other departments, including Service, Sales, and Accounting, to fulfill parts orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving area, adhering to safety and compliance standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices. What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is preferred. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting. What We Offer:
