Job ID: 2837640 | Amazon.com Services LLC The Sports Marketing team at Amazon Prime Video seeks a Sr. Campaign Manager to lead marketing campaign operations for 360° marketing campaigns and deliverables as well as help build and maintain ongoing marketing operations in support of our Live Sports programming. The campaign management team is the operational backbone of Sports Marketing at Amazon, partnering especially closely with the Strategy (go-to-market) and Creative teams to bring innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives to fruition. This position reports to the Head of Campaign Management and will drive:
Campaign Operations
Leverage exceptional organizational and project management skills to drive all aspects of 360-degree marketing campaigns, from brief to concept to execution. Manage and drive timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams (internal and external) to ensure seamless creative development and delivery.
Marketing Operations
Manage and improve the operations, processes, and tools used by the marketing team to more effectively manage and track their work on Live Sports titles. Key work streams will include identifying pain points, defining a long-term vision, and implementing new solutions to increase self-serviced, force-multiplying efficiency and visibility.
Key job responsibilities
Day-to-day oversight and execution of campaigns and creative asset development. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for marketing campaigns and initiatives, including strategic allocation of resources, rate negotiations with external partners, and oversight of the development of AV, digital art and print creative assets. Manage project deliverables to ensure timely and successful execution. Lead and align diverse cross-functional teams (including strategy, creative, social, and media) and external agencies towards common objectives and shared timelines. Facilitate clear, proactive communication among all stakeholders, ensuring efficient collaboration, timely updates on project status, and effective assessment of project requirements. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed, while ensuring updates, relevant delays and budget implications are communicated to stakeholders. Invent and simplify appropriate processes and system tooling to support efficient collaboration, campaign planning, resource allocation and tracking, and creative review/approvals. Raise the quality bar and foster continual process improvements through routine post-mortems and collaborative feedback with cross-functional partners.
Process Improvement and Operational Optimization
Continuously identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement in marketing team processes and workflows, particularly related to Live Sports titles. Invent, simplify, and implement innovative processes, tools, and systems to enhance project management, resource allocation, status tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. Drive the adoption of new operational solutions, aligning them with long-term strategic goals to improve overall marketing team efficiency. Raise the quality bar through routine post-mortems, collaborative feedback, and data-driven improvements. Develop and execute a strategic vision for ongoing operational excellence in campaign management and creative asset development.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, particularly in project and/or program management, with a proven track record of successfully project managing complex, multi-faceted marketing campaigns. Adept at nimbly navigating curveballs, challenges and coordinating diverse stakeholders to deliver on a wide range of campaign deliverables. Experience driving direction and alignment across large, complex teams to ensure efficient development and delivery of assets per the marketing plan. Experience in creative concept development, production, budget management, and vendor negotiation. Experience owning relationships with and presenting to senior stakeholders and partners. Mastery in creating and implementing processes, driving adoption across large and busy organizations. Mastery of project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Airtable). Comfortable operating in highly ambiguous and rapidly evolving business environment. Excellence in written and verbal communication. Experience working in sports marketing and/or sports media marketing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A deep passion for sports and understanding of sports fandom. Experience with NBA league and marketing guidelines. Knowledge of brand development and brand management principles. Understanding of digital file and folder management systems. DAM (Digital Asset Management) experience a plus.
