You will be responsible for two distinct job responsibilities: Franchise Management and Retail Marketing. You will develop and execute franchise and retail marketing plans with DTR & Halo / Collaboration partners, retailers and key licensees, leveraging NBCUniversal’s entertainment content to build a sustainable business that achieves annual revenue targets. You will activate global franchise strategies for Fashion & Living and Food, Beauty and Care (F&L and FBC) regional licensees and retailers; ensuring local relevance and partnering across other business units within the company to build or maintain consumer relevance of our most important brands (IP). You will manage events such as partner summits and key partner meetings / studio swings, and act as an important Regional brand lead working between the EMEA & Global Franchise teams located in Los Angeles and local Marketing teams across Europe (Germany, Italy, Spain, France, UK, Benelux, etc.), advocating for regional needs. Additionally, this role will develop and execute short- and long-term retail channel strategies delivering annual growth strategies that leverage the strength of NBCUniversal’s franchise portfolio, category and consumer priorities. The role will be responsible for being the voice of the brand, consumer, and retail, balancing the demands of delivering marketing activations that drive ROI and promoting retail sell-in of ranges. Partner with Regional Category Leads (FBC & DTR) to ensure Franchise/Retail Strategy is a core part of the Partner Strategic plan. Develop and execute Regional partner territory specific franchise marketing activations to support UP&E while creating demand value and awareness. Develop cross-divisional symphony programs (both marketing and PR) with other NBCUniversal business units. Partner with Franchise Management (Global and EMEA) to guide implementation of franchise strategies and Regional needs. Inspire licensee, Halo / Collab partners and retailers through engaging brand and retail presentations. Attend top-tier Regional Retail and Licensee meetings (i.e. PRIMARK Swings, Regional FBC partner & Polish partner pitches) to share brand and retail plans. Plan screenings for licensees and retailers as required. Manage mall activations and costume character appearances for key partners where relevant. Oversee presentation support and coordination of all Regional events (Partner summits, Immersion sessions, Swings, Top to tops) from conceptualization to execution. Collaborate with global events team to secure required event assets via the events tool kit, including invitation templates, banners, etc. Work with global marketing team to secure required presentations. Leverage regional toolkits as developed by Franchise, to activate and support 365-day business across the core properties. Ideate and develop compelling Franchise partner campaigns with focused activation plans, sharing with EMEA and Global stakeholders. Act as brand guardian for NBCUniversal IPs, contributing to the EMEA Franchise vision and best practice processes. Contribute to Regional brainstorm sessions and project taskforces. Manage strategy and activation of influencer and paid social marketing campaigns where relevant. Liaise with DTR & FBC / Collab / Halo Partners and align with EMEA Franchise team to elevate content during key retail and CP moments relevant to franchise. Retail Marketing, Planning and Execution: Develop, maintain, and drive relationships across Marketing and Buyers in conjunction with category teams to drive product placement and sell through. Curate, present, and execute sales-driving Retail marketing programs in line with brand guidelines and individual DTR / FBC / Collab Partner expectations - events, digital, print, radio, TV, cinema, social, trading banners, POS etc. Proactively conceptualize and develop cross promotions with other Universal divisions. Share best practices with Franchise and Retail & Marketing teams in the US to ensure creative is consistent and on brand. Remain competitively aware of competitors’ retail programs & share best practices/results. Manage execution and account management of assigned marketing partnerships with DTR / FBC / Collab Partners; includes in-store marketing, promotions, sweepstakes, out-of-home, print, online/mobile content, packaging, premiums, etc. Manage the EMEA Franchise and Trade marketing budget. Approve all Retail marketing submissions from DTRs, FBC & COLLAB Partners. Provide comprehensive marketing program recaps and post analysis including measurable results, ROI, and comparisons to competitive programs while maintaining examples of best-in-class programs to help drive the planning process. Regular attendance of trade shows and social industry functions where applicable – e.g., LVLE, Brand Licensing Europe. Qualifications

Strong Brand Marketing experience. Extensive experience with retail/trade marketing, promotions or packaged goods experience with significant experience creating large-scale programs. Deep knowledge of retail business including retail marketing tactics, promotional partners/packaged goods and consumer products. Relationship builder. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Able to thrive in a matrix organization. A brand builder and commercial thinker. Proven track record of hitting targets and delivering growth.
