Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Navigation Experience
Come join the Navigation Experience (NavX) team as we make it easy and delightful for customers worldwide to navigate Amazon's mobile app and website. Our mission is to be an indispensable and trustworthy guide that provides direction and context to customers at each point in their shopping journeys. We own highly visible, core navigation experiences across Amazon's app and website that millions of customers worldwide use each day as they browse and shop on Amazon. If you want to impact a lot of customers, work as part of a collaborative team, and innovate on both new and existing products - this is the team for you.
What you will do: As a Sr. PMT, you will both define and execute a worldwide strategy and roadmap. You will think big, invent, and simplify to make our experiences more intuitive, delightful, and relevant for our customers. You will drive adoption of new features that customers have never used before, while helping them find and rediscover those that they already use and love. You will collaborate closely with UX, engineering, and analytics teams to design and analyze experiments. You will creatively work around roadblocks to deliver new innovations for our customers. You will obsess over metrics and be relentless about learning their drivers, and use that knowledge to continue to elevate the experience for our customers. You will write and communicate (a lot) as you influence leaders and cross-company stakeholders each day. You will partner with dozens of teams across Amazon to ensure that customers have a way to discover and find the products, programs, and offerings that matter to them every time they visit our store.
What you will learn: You should already be an excellent communicator, written and verbal, but we will make you an even better one. You will refine your skills in A/B testing, product thinking, and working cross-functionally with engineering, UX, analytics, and business teams. You will forge strong relationships with teams outside of your organization's boundaries to achieve your goals, while insisting on the highest standards to deliver the best possible experience for our customers. You will use data and deep knowledge of our customers to weigh competing priorities and work with technical stakeholders to evaluate trade-offs. You will also learn about our broader organization, Shopping, which drives innovation on Amazon's most visited experiences, including the homepage, detail page, search, and navigation experiences.
About the team: The Shopping Discovery & Evaluation team makes shopping in Amazon's store a delightful, intuitive, and trustworthy experience, where every customer finds an engaging, intuitive, and personalized way to shop and explore any time they visit.
