The Sage Group’s client, a well-known and respected personal finances FinTech company, is looking to hire a Brand & Connections Strategist to join the Brand Marketing Team, supporting our Brand Advertising efforts, namely the launch of a mass-reach national brand campaign launching in Feb ‘25. The Brand Marketing team is focused on getting consumers to know, trust, and love the brand. As a Brand & Connections Strategist, you will be responsible for stewarding our brand communications strategy across full-funnel marketing campaigns, leading how we bring to life our brand story across touchpoints through partnership with internal channel strategy experts, internal creative partners, and external creative, media and PR agencies.

Brand Strategy : Ability to understand the unique and differentiated brand and product value, leveraging that to inform communication priorities.
The go-to expert and keeper of consumer insights and learnings. Experience understanding a consumer target audience, leveraging the right insights to inform the message they need to hear to get them to think, feel, or do something different.
Comms Planning: Architects comms plans in partnership with media and channel experts to guide how campaign ideas and key messages come to life through a full-funnel marketing campaign.
Identifies new creative storytelling opportunities based on the campaign platform. Owns learnings on what messages resonate with our target audience and stewards them across brand advertising channels, continuously mining for learnings in partnership with media and market research.
Creative Strategy / Brief Writing: Highly skilled at triangulating insights on consumer, cultural, and category trends to inform creative strategy in a channel.
Will play a role in both reviewing and providing feedback on briefs from various stakeholders, including channel partners (sponsorships and media), agencies (influencer/ PR creative and agency) Writing and developing creative briefs for teams across podcast, social, and advertising channels.
Creative Execution: Reviews all creative deliverables across video, social, podcast, digital, sponsorship, and influencer channels to provide input with an eye towards campaign consistency, and effectiveness with consumer target, balanced with achieving channel objectives. You: Are consumer-obsessed and creative: You never stop learning how the company can more meaningfully impact consumer perception and behavior. You strive to make the work better at every turn, setting a high standard for creative excellence. Are a channel-first thinker: You understand that an effective advertising campaign needs to stay a step ahead in predicting consumer behavior and media consumption habits. You’re skilled at adapting an overarching campaign idea to meet consumers where they are - right time, right place, right message. Can be an influential communicator and coach: You’re comfortable giving candid feedback but are highly collaborative and empathetic. You make other teams feel heard while also coaching them to stay focused on the north-star objective. You can “see the forest through the trees”, which allows you to influence key internal, and external stakeholders and cross-functional partners seamlessly. Operate with an ownership mentality: You have strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle projects while still “managing up” well to various stakeholders. This allows you to consensus and aid in keeping a cross-functional team on time and on task. Experience: 10-12 years of experience
