Scope of Leadership Role
This position provides overall operations leadership of multiple plants to achieve the financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Sets objectives and monitors the performance of the plants to ensure current and future production targets, quality standards and safety metrics are met. Optimizes the talent within the organizational structure and fosters an environment to promote individual and team growth and career development goals.
This role liaisons with associated business leader and functional leadership (e.g. Finance, Product Management, Engineering, Human Resources, etc.) in order to ensure strong communication between manufacturing and its counterparts. Establishes operating budgets; monitors the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards. Implements policies and procedures to ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost reduction goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Provides overall operations leadership of multiple plants to achieve the financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan.
Drives a culture proactively focused on Safety, supporting safety culture initiatives driving towards zero-incident safety culture mindset.
Identify, develop and implement controls, processes, equipment, fixtures, resources and skills that are needed to achieve quality products that ship on schedule.
Create synergies through key performance indicators within manufacturing operations to maximize profit and exceed profit plan targets in manufacturing.
Partner closely with the Regal Rexnord Business Systems team to support Continuous Improvement initiatives across the division.
Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future state.
Identify, coach, and develop talent across the division to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field; Advanced degree preferred (MS Engineering, MBA)
10+ years relevant work experience across Operations, Continuous Improvement and General Management Positions (multi-site management preferred)
Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions
Analytical skills to properly interpret data
Leadership skills to develop and mentor
Financial and Operational solid experience to support demand/supply pipeline
Flexibility for traveling 50%+ of the time
