Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field
• Illinois licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility
• Exceptional interpersonal and counseling skills

Responsibilities:

• Delivering personalized counseling and support services to address a spectrum of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborating closely with school personnel, families, and community resources to devise and execute effective intervention strategies
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and actively contributing to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Advocating tirelessly for students' rights and requirements within both the educational environment and the wider community
• Keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in school social work through continuous professional development activities
