What You Will Do:

As a Federal Health Managing Consultant, you will:
  • Lead delivery and management of engagement activities related to healthcare enterprise portfolio strategy, design, and delivery
  • Guide client and internal subject matter expert conversations on healthcare system design, delivery, and capital planning towards effective outcomes
  • Oversee creation of compelling deliverables that engage technical and non-technical audiences to drive responsible decisions in long-term healthcare system design, delivery and capital planning at every level of a client's organization
  • Identify and mitigate projects risks around scope, schedule, and quality, effectively escalating to engagement leadership
  • Develop strategies and solutions to solve complex healthcare system design, delivery, and capital planning challenges for our healthcare clients


What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience, preferably management consulting experience in the healthcare industry
  • Ability as a strong, detail-oriented writer and editor, with capability to deliver quality content in short time frames for a variety of audiences
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and develop successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to create and lead clear and compelling presentations for clients on complex topics
  • Experience maintaining project timelines and contributing to project reporting
  • Experience providing written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business, including experience writing reports and client/public-facing documents
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis and data visualization
  • Experience with shaping frameworks in ambiguous environments and adapting to feedback and guidance from your team and leadership
  • Experience with quantitative analysis in Microsoft Excel and/or other analytical platforms and ability to translate analysis findings
  • US Citizen


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, Military Health System, or commercial healthcare
  • Experience in setting up and running successful large-scale collaborative events such as conferences, listening sessions, or focus groups
  • Experience in a clinical setting
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Veteran of the U.S. Military


The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
