Overview

Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to its growing Vascular Surgery Department in Carmichael, CA.

This outpatient-focused position will see both venous and arterial patients and be responsible for H&Ps, pre/post-surgical assessments, acute medical visits, patient education and follow-up, and responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues. Accredited vascular lab on site. This opportunity is full-time with no call requirement.

This opportunity offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus potential and a very desirable retirement plan.

Compensation Range: $133,000 - $179,000 / Year

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Treatment Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies.
  • Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care across various settings.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-year post-training experience in an NP role
  • Experience in Vascular, Cardiology, or Cardiac Surgery is highly desirable
  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)

Pay Range
$64.00 - $86.00 /hour
