As a Product Management Director within Accenture Song, you'll bring a keen desire to positively impact the humans around you, collaborate and deliver products by connecting your skills and know-how of diverse teams and design tools. A strong ability to lead others creatively, being mindful of technical feasibility and collaborate with key stakeholders to bring a vision to life sets you and your team on the path of success to bring lasting value to our clients.

THE WORK:

Client & Project Delivery
  • Ability to manage large internal delivery project teams and cross-functional teams across Accenture (team size 5 - 20 people)
  • Ensures customer and stakeholder value is delivered by the product team through clear feature alignment to benefit hypotheses / value
  • Identifies key questions to help and solve critical problems throughout an engagement and ensures the final product meets the business need, delivers maximum value and delights users
  • Strategic product thinker - ability to identify new opportunities in changing technical and market landscape
  • Able to craft a compelling quantitative business case that ties business impact delivered by product to prioritized features
  • Understand a client's business strategy and industry and the ability to craft product recommendations to deliver against business objectives
  • Ownership mentality - demonstrating a clear accountability for building products that make customers feel job, delight, and trust and passion for the product craft and practice
  • Ability to manage senior (C-Suite level) executive clients
  • Ability to generate and curate long-term client relationships and build long-term product programs
  • Enables continuous communication and manages client, customer, and other stakeholder feedback by synthesizing and integrating it in the product roadmap
  • Strong communication i.e., ability to influence with cross-functional collaboration skills and senior level audiences to gain buy-in and support to progress product development
  • Sufficient understanding of technology strategy to support in communication to non-technical and senior audiences at a level that is digestible and understandable
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment


Business Development & Practice Building
  • Experience crafting and developing compelling narratives to be embedded in sales proposals
  • Working with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and position opportunities to meet those needs
  • Managing and coaching the career paths of junior & mid-level product managers
  • Ability to negotiate and align on scope for project delivery
  • Ability to create a strategic vision and experience contributing to or leading the growth of a product focused team / practice


Here's what you'll need:
  • Minimum 10 years of management and delivery experience
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership, coaching, and training
  • Minimum 5 years with proven ability to create, manage and deliver a success ful Product Roadmap
  • Minimum of 5 years client-facing responsibility or accountability for product delivery Minimum of 3 years of people leadership and direct management experience
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
  • Ability to travel as required English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Analytical and strategic decision-making coupled with a product planning and prioritization
  • A solid understanding and ability to describe and articulate the roles within a product team and responsibilities of the role within a full-scale product team
  • Extensive knowledge of a product delivery model from inception to execution
  • Requires strong analytical, data-driven mindset that keeps the end user at the heart of product creation
  • Ability to partner with clients to set goals and measures of success for product teams
  • Ability to manage conflict within an organization regarding planning and prioritization
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Using and/or creating JIRA, Rally, Version One boards to track project scope
  • Comfortable creating content from scratch to tell the product story
  • Experience in SAFe, Scrum, Lean, Kanban Certification in Agile (POPM,APM, CSPO)
