What impact you'll make
The Plant Manager will provide leadership to the production organizations in the Parsippany factory to meet customer requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will drive operational excellence and continue our path of Lean transformation, while building on a culture of inclusion and respect for people and continuous improvement. This role will play a key role within the Gas Power Supply Chain organization.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
  • Influence, coach, and motivate staff leaders to guide the production and support organizations for optimum day-to-day operations.
  • Work with customers, cross-functional leaders, and internal staff to meet production requirements to deliver on-time to our customers and achieve business outcomes.
  • Establish site culture and priorities with a clear focus on business execution, effective employee communication & relations, and the embodiment of the GE Vernova Way
  • Influence the Lean roadmap for the facility and integrate lean principles into the way we do work.
  • Leverage budgeting, forecasting and SI&OP rhythms to drive the organization to ensure scheduling, capacity, and headcount are aligned to facilitate plant success.
  • Global mindset to share in best practice and strive to ensure all read across items have been implemented.
  • Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all aspects of SQDC and compliance.


What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing with a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience

  • You can demonstrate strong knowledge in the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality systems, cost systems and fulfillment metrics.
  • You have a proven track record in designing and implementing daily management systems.
  • You can demonstrate a record of success in leading manufacturing operations with a Lean mindset and is skilled at applying Lean tools to improve business operations.
  • You have the ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally, influencing across a matrix organization while connecting and building relationships with all levels of the site.
  • You are someone with strong communication and analytical abilities and the capacity to drive continuous improvement.
  • You are someone who can engrain in the team cross functional collaboration with a focus on "go and see" to support customers and production associates.
  • You have a passion for bringing a positive, team-centered method of work to foster a positive employee relations environment.
  • You understand the demands of a 24 hour manufacturing environment and are comfortable flexing your schedule to support the operating teams.


Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this position is $141,000-235,100. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
