How we LEAD:
As Director, you will support Bravado's eCommerce, Retail and Licensing business channels. You will collaborate with the operating teams' marketing efforts, price modeling, and product sourcing. You will be managing the billing and collection process on 3rd party licensing deals as well as managing financial closes in coordination with the central accounting team. You will provide audit support and develop reporting and analyses to assist management in their decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the artist merchandise business from an operation and a finance and accounting standpoint. This role will be based in NYC working hybrid Monday - Thursday (in the office).

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. How you'll CREATE:
In a fast-paced and growing environment like ours, priorities and projects often change so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Marketing expenses review and approval.
- Pricing discounts review and approval.
- Product Buy Sheets review and approval.
- Maintain merch licensing database, manage billing and collection process.
- Prepare various analyses for month close; review and approve journal entries.
- Review financial close results, resolve issues.
- Create financial models and track trends.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Bring your VIBE:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required.
- At least 10 years of general ledger accounting, audit, and financial analysis experience is required.
- Music/Entertainment or Merchandise industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities and successfully get work done.
- Must be results oriented, proactive, and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and team skills, bringing an end-to-end business mindset and approach to getting results
