• This group of physicians will round daily on their inpatients and admit in rotation with the medical education service.

Nighttime Hospital Coverage

• 4 physicians covering the night shifts
  • Two from 1600 to midnight
  • One from midnight to 0800
  • One from 1700 to 0100
• Nighttime covering hospitalists will respond to cross-coverage issues and cover admissions.
• These three nighttime hospitalists will accept admissions in concert and on a rotating basis with the medical teaching service
