Our client in Laurel, MD is actively looking to hire a qualified Accounts Receivable Analyst to their growing team! With over $ 200 million in annual revenue and growing, this privately-held company is very employee centric and continuously expanding! This Accounts Receivable Analyst will join their accounting/finance team and contribute to the success of their growing organization, while being part of a fantastic, tenured team.This position is onsite in the office 5 days/week. Our client does of course provide flexibility when/if needed.

As an AR Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing the accounts receivable and collections processes for our client.
Leverage your 2-3+ years of collections experience to monitor and maintain outstanding balances.
Engage in effective communication with clients to ensure timely payments and resolution of billing discrepancies.
Utilize analytical skills to assess and resolve payment issues, contributing to a healthy financial ecosystem for our client.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
Research and processes customer claims of invoice payment.
Research and processes charge backs, returns, and NSF items.
Answers AR phone/email inquiries and follows up.
Provide guidance to the cash applications team for proper application of customer payment(s).
BS or AA degree preferred, but open on relevant work experience
3+ years of demonstrated experience in collections and accounts receivable.
In-depth knowledge of collections best practices and compliance.
Oracle NetSuite software experience highly preferred
Advanced Excel skills required
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective client communication.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
