Successful and forward-thinking broadcast media company has an immediate opening for a full-time Financial/Accounting Analyst in their corporate office. In this role you will demonstrate the ability to contribute to multiple areas; from researching latest GAAP requirements to being able to relay information to non-financial users in the form of insightful management reporting. We are looking for someone who has the foundations in place to become a financial leader but now seeks the real-world experience and mentorship to achieve that goal.The position will drive technical accounting for all business units including financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP and audit coordination. The role has tremendous opportunity for growth, both with the company and on an individual professional basis. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will have immediate exposure to decision makers, working closely with all levels of corporate and divisional management within the company.Key job responsibilities **
Working with the CFO to develop and maintain timely and relevant financial reporting to all stakeholders Coordinate portions of the monthly/quarterly close process, provide operational variance analysis, through to financial statement preparation and reporting Work with external auditors; coordinating the annual audit Research technical accounting issues to ensure GAAP compliant reporting Work with all stakeholders to develop, maintain, and improve accounting internal controls, policies and procedures Assist with tax compliance and work with tax advisors on annual returns Maintain Cash Flow Forecast - monitor and improve the collections cycle of each business unit. Identify risk areas and follow-up with relevant stakeholders Provide operational support and guidance to digital billing team ensuring reporting is in adherence to GAAP Assist in design and maintenance of digital reporting dashboard
** Audit experience - minimum 2 years Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels Strong analytical skills and problem solving; ability to research problems and drive resolutions Strong business acumen with ability to proactively recognize potential issues Self-starter with ability to work independently and desire to collaborate as appropriate#INNOV2024#ZRCFS#LI-RG1
