As a Project Manager, you'll lead the charge on: Mid-to-large-scale projects:Masterfully manage various initiatives,navigating their intricacies with confidence. Advanced project management:Utilize project management concepts and tools to keep projects on track,on budget,and on time. Planning and execution:Develop comprehensive plans,break them down into actionable steps,and drive effective execution. Evaluation and optimization:Continuously assess project performance,identify areas for improvement,and implement adjustments for optimized outcomes. Team leadership and mentorship:Guide and empower team members,fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. To excel in this role, you'll bring: Bachelor's degree:Business Administration,Healthcare Administration,Engineering,or related field. 3-4 years of experience:Leading projects of moderate complexity. Project management mastery:Demonstrated knowledge and application of advanced concepts and tools (e.g.,Agile,Waterfall). Mentorship mindset:Passion for equipping team members with skills and knowledge to succeed. Relationship builder:Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels. PMP certification:Required within 3 years of hire (or equivalent project management certification). Ability work on site in La Crosse, WI. Job Description: Leads and manages multiple mid to large size projects with moderate complexity using advanced concepts and tools. Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. Major Responsibilities 1. Leads and manages multiple mid to large size projects with moderate complexity using advanced concepts and tools. 2. Achievement of project objectives in conformance to Gundersen Health System's project management methodologies and standards, i.e. change management plan, communication plan, charter, etc. 3. Prepares and executes project plan, monitoring appropriate project milestone metrics and adjusting accordingly. 4. Identifies project stakeholders and the project team. Clarifies team roles and responsibilities. 5. Interprets, analyses and converts data into usable information (identifies the data necessary to establish the baseline and measure the change). 6. Conducts regular project reviews and reports the status of projects in both formal and informal settings to team members, sponsors, and stakeholders. 7. Uses critical thinking skills to proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact a project or project deliverables; and seeks innovative ways to remove project obstacles. 8. Collaborates with other departments, divisions and committees of Gundersen Health System to ensure completion of project requirements. 9. Ensures satisfactory transfer of the project outcomes along with the appropriate documentation to the project sponsor and owner. Debrief with project team and document significant learning. 10. Closes all project documentation and archive appropriate records. 11. Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 12. Mentors and assesses development of Project Managers Level 1. 13. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. 14. Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 15. Ambassador and advocate of project management practices and processes. 16. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance. 17. Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested. Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Engineering or related field DESIRED Master's Degree in a related field Work Experience: REQUIRED Minimum of 3-4 years' experience leading projects Demonstrated ability to teach and coach less experienced team members in project management methodologies and tools. Effective relationship building skills are required. License and Certifications: REQUIRED PMP certification or equivalent must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
