Overview

We are seeking an experienced junior-level Construction Compliance Coordinator to join the Procurement Team. Reporting to the Manager of Procurement Compliance and Supplier Diversity, the Construction Compliance Coordinator will support compliance efforts under Construction Wage Rate Requirements Statute (formerly Davis-Bacon Act) . focusing on assisting senior team members to serve as liaison between the Procurement, subcontractors, and federal agencies, in all compliance matters pertaining to the Statute. This position is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in compliance or construction who are looking to grow their career in federal contracting and procurement.

Responsibilities

Core Duties

LCPtracker Administrator: Serve as the primary administrator of the LCPtracker program for the submission of certified payroll reports.

Primary responsibilities will focus on administrative compliance tasks.

Certified Payroll Review: Assist in reviewing certified payroll reports and ensuring compliance with wage requirements through LCPtracker in accordance with Davis-Bacon wage requirements.

Support senior compliance team members in conducting audits and preparing compliance reports.

Training and Support: Support compliance team members in provide guidance and training to procurement specialists and subcontractors on Davis-Bacon requirements, including wage determinations, record-keeping, and reporting through LCPtracker.

Monitoring and Audits: Conduct regular on-site audits to verify that subcontractor workers are receiving the appropriate wages and benefits.

Interview workers (on-site) to assess awareness of their rights and confirm proper wage payment.

Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any wage disputes, complaints, or non-compliance issues. Work closely with legal and compliance teams as needed.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities. Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including federal agencies.

Collaboration: Work closely with procurement specialists, project managers, and legal to ensure that all compliance requirements are met from project initiation to completion.

Stay Informed: Keep current with changes to the Statute, and recommend adjustments to compliance procedures as necessary.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in construction compliance, procurement, or related fields preferred, but entry-level candidates with knowledge of compliance and constructions standards will also be considered.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or other federal wage regulations is a plus but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Understanding or familiarity of the Construction Wage Rate Requirements Statute (formerly Davis-Bacon Act), federal procurement regulations, and prevailing wage laws is a plus. Training will be provided.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to real-world scenarios.

Experience with Union contracts and Union Workers is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Oracle Cloud system is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Some duties will be in a field or industrial environment with 70% of time spent in an office setting.

Occasional work outdoors, in varying weather, to include heat and cold may be required.

Working Conditions

Position requires visit to active construction jobsites to conduct compliance audits.

This position will be Hybrid with a 3 days onsite vs 2 days remote schedule. This schedule is subject to adjust based on project needs onsite.
