Senior Financial Analyst - External Collaborations

The Senior Financial Analyst for External Collaborations will be preparing budgets and forecasts for the development and commercialization of Regeneron’s drug candidates in the new modality and collaboration delivery space.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
Prepare IOPS sections of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts:
Including Operating expenses, drug supply, outside expenses, headcount, and FTEs for multiple collaboration programs
May require a total site operation or program specific perspective
Will include specific focus on external manufacturing and fill finish activities related to ongoing and future collaborative efforts
Work with CMC PM’s on department CMC activities and work packages for quarterly and ad hoc program specific budget/forecasts and tracking of actual expenditures
Work with Corporate & Program Finance to coordinate planning assumptions, breakdown and summary reporting of program cost projections both internally and with external partners
Provide support for explaining variances between actual and budgeted results
Lead special financial analyses as assigned by Manager or either IOPS Finance or IOPS Senior Management
Develop, build and implement new models to automate regular analyses and reports
Seek ways to continually improve existing models, reports, and collaborative relationships
This role may be for you if you have:
Extensive knowledge in spreadsheet (MS Excel) and financial modeling
Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
Ability to work with a reasonable amount of uncertainty and provide best estimates with comfort and confidence
Ability to understand and define issues, collect and analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to effectively communicate issues, results, financial drivers and ideas with peers and management (internal and external)
Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization and amongst collaborations
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint are a plus
In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BS/BA in Finance or Accounting or related field and 5+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience; MBA or CPA is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing and/or science environment, cost accounting experience, and project management training/experience and resource planning is a plus. Requires experience with Hyperion, Oracle, SAP or similar financial systems
