A career-minded Highway Senior Project Manager is needed to join JMT's Highways Team in Tampa, FL. They will be responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including; scope, schedule and budget. Are you JMT’s next Highway Project Manager?
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Contribute to the production of proposals and participate in client presentations
Serve as a technical expertise resource to project engineers and technical staff
Assist with strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders
Develop and coordinate project scope, establish project pricing and budgets
Create and maintain project schedules
Develop and maintain project specific quality plans
Manage financial budget for projects and allocate resources accordingly
Manage subconsultants
Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
Professional Engineer License
10+ years’ experience in specialized discipline
Project management and business development experience
Qualifications Preferred
Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
Project management and business development experience
Experience managing multidiscipline project teams

Working Conditions
At JMT we value a healthy work/life balance and offer a flexible hybrid working schedule.
Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
