Note:
Responsible for managing the Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) strategy or main workstreams for a project.
The C&Q PM will be responsible for supporting the C&Q Program on site, including facilities, utilities, and warehouse equipment.
This includes creating technical documentation and test protocols, supporting the implementation of new technologies.
The C&Q Project Manager is responsible for ensuring commissioning and qualification delivery meets the program requirements and is cost effective.
This position will also drive operational improvement strategies, shares and incorporates best practices and lessons learned, and partners with key stakeholders.
Write technical documentation for commissioning & qualification of critical facility equipment and key computerized systems
Identify, support, and/or lead implementation of engineering based improvements or upgrades to the equipment or facility systems.
This may include development of reason for improvement and identification of design requirements and then translation of requirements into process equipment/system design, specification and supporting the construction, startup, and validation of equipment.
Act as a liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations during project planning, execution, and closeout
Monitor systems to identify performance risks and implement risk reduction strategies
Support new product/technology introductions by performing engineering assessments
Provide ad hoc technical support and guidance for manufacturing and maintenance
Support Lean Transformation and Excellence in Operations process improvement by leading, supporting, and documenting improvement opportunities to reduce cost, improve safety/quality, or improve speed
Provide oversight for verification deliverables developed by outsourced/contract verification staff
Provide problem solving support to reduce production downtime.
This will involve leading and/or supporting technical root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive action
Ensure systems are installed and operating safely, aligning with pertinent environmental health/safety practice, rules and regulations.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 1 year of Engineering OR Commissioning and Qualification Management experience OR Master degree and 3 years of Engineering OR Commissioning and Qualification Management experience OR Bachelor degree and 5 years of Engineering OR Commissioning and Qualification Management experience.
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
Experience with documentation management systems such as Kneat or Veeva
Experience implementing, operating, and/or maintaining warehouse automation/manufacturing execution/data historian systems
Experience applying engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, introduction of new processes, and execution of capital projects
Pay Rate between $59 - $67/Hr on W2 based on experience.
