What’s the job?
CertainTeed Architectural is growing and we are building our Wood Center of Excellence for our wood ceilings and panels offerings.- In line with this, our Strongsville Ohio location is currently seeking a Project Manager II.
The position is a 1 st shift position, reporting directly to the Director, Pre-Construction and manages the execution of the customer order from sales to closeout.- Job duties include:
Project management – leading, planning and implementing customer orders and projects by defining project scope, tasks, milestones, timeline, budget, and resource requirements.
Customer care – nurtures client relationships by responding to customer inquiries regarding project status or communicating product/service issues with the customer.
Support – Works with Product Application engineer to address customer design issues, works with Purchasing to ensure purchase orders are received and is compatible with project proposal terms, works with Operations to monitor/track project schedules.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a technical field
5-7 years in Project Management, Technical Sales/Customer Service in construction or in a manufacturing environment including the ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred
