The main responsibility of this role is to schedule and manage events at Shusterman Hall as needed, as an addition to the portfolio of conference and event spaces managed by University College. The part-time events manager works up to 20 hours per week. Shifts may vary based on the needs of the facility and the university's academic schedule. This position will work with University College facilities staff, IT services, Temple Law, and various external and internal units
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent organization & communication skills. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Ability to interact with diverse groups of faculty, staff, and students. Ability to lift boxes, equipment, and furniture. Comfortable working to complete tasks both independently and as part of a team. Preferred:
At least three years related experience.
