Purpose of Position:

To provide project oversite and coordination in order to complete medical and commercial shielding projects safely, on time and in budget. Responsibilities Manage and build customer relationships Track, monitor and manage actual project cost Support sales, drafting, production and the installation process to ensure deadlines are met Procure subcontractor quotes Manage subcontracts and provide required documentation Review and process pay applications and invoices Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors Coordinate jobsite logistics, jobsite access, material deliveries, temporary utilities, etc. Develop construction project with client, architect, engineers, and trade workers Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments as required Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Process Change Orders and Special Instructions Review approval drawings to ensure our standards are met and contract obligations are met. Responsible for making sure closeout documents are properly issued Attend weekly scheduling meetings and project kickoff meetings as required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent (flexible) Three to five years of commercial construction experience Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Organized and able to manage multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules Able to work with a team of employees on multiple projects Experienced at following strict budgets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Accurate and precise attention to detail Goal-oriented and organized leadership Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions In-depth understanding of the construction industry Self-motivated and self-directed Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
