ZL Chemicals LTD is hiring: Warehouse Associate - Houston in Houston

Work location: 13609 Industrial Road, Houston TX 77015

Responsibilities Include:

-Blending and mixing polymer chemical formulations using a blend sheet. Must be able to follow detailed procedures and learn new concepts.

-General warehouse work of receiving and shipping liquid and powder chemicals as well as general housekeeping

-Organize and maintain inventory

-Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the batch area

-Weigh and meter all blend components using volume meters and/or load cells

-Handle and pump a variety of dry and liquid non-hazardous chemicals

-Use and be familiar with a variety of chemical pumps and material handling devices to transfer and transport materials

-Hook up tanks and hoses to blend the specified products

-Monitor blending operations, mixing times, temperatures and fill levels to ensure safety

-Taking necessary precautions and wear appropriate PPE which may include gloves, respirators, aprons, steel toe boots, hard hats and safety vest

-Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. Shift may change depending on business needs

Desired Qualifications:

-Minimum 3 years working experience in a warehouse environment

-Minimum 2 years in chemical blending and forklift experience preferred 

-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and respond to changing priorities

-Proficiency in written and verbal English and Chinese
