Content Designer I The user experience (UX) team is responsible for creating intuitive, easy to use, and accessible customer journeys for our customers: members, employers, brokers, and providers. The Content Designer I partners with User Experience Designers, Researchers, Product Owners and members of agile crews to help them to create easy to understand user experiences. This role writes content for digital experiences that is clear, concise, and easy to understand while maintaining our brand standards of voice and style. This role also collaborates with UX designers to ensure that content fits into the visual hierarchy in a meaningful and intuitive way. The Content Designer I partners with our product team to understand the complexities of the field of health insurance, the goals of the business, and the needs of our users, and with researchers to help validate that content is communicating effectively. Qualifications
Qualifications Content Designer I Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or other writing, design, or user experience related fields. 0-1 years of relevant experience.
Professional Certification(s): Working on or recently completed relevant user experience certifications.
Technical Skills and Knowledge: Writing content for digital experiences that simplifies the complex topics of health insurance. Applying content hierarchy to improve readability and accessibility. Auditing existing products to validate ease of understanding, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
