What You Will Be Doing:

As the condition monitoring analyst, you will evaluate machine conditions and trends, compile reports and make recommendations to customers regarding machine condition by utilizing the five elements of Condition Monitoring: SOS, Inspections, Electronic Data, Site, Repair History and Component Tracking and Site Conditions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Compile machine data to review, evaluate, and trend machine condition.

Provide service and maintenance recommendations from evaluations.

Develop and distribute Level 3 Condition Monitoring reports bi-monthly.

Distribute push report from Caterpillar monthly.

Generate leads from Scheduled Oil Sampling (SOS) results and machine Event/Fault codes.

Interface with customers regarding technical questions about their equipment.

Interface with sales representatives regarding technical questions about customer equipment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Field questions regarding VisionLink database.

Assist in maintenance of VisionLink database.

Assist or lead Product Link / VisionLink training for customers, sales reps, and/or technicians.

Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.

Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should be organized, with a focus on timeliness and accuracy. You should have strong computer skills, specifically in regards to Microsoft Excel. The ability to provide superior customer service is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Some college or technical training preferred.

Caterpillar technical experience required.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Strong computer/internet skills are required.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Must be able to communicate technical issues regarding machine health in easily understood terms to both internal and external customers.

Must be mechanically inclined and able to understand basic equipment operation and design.

Must be able to comprehend and explain satellite/cellular communication and GPS technology.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

An ideal candidate would have experience with Product Link hardware, VisionLink software, and experience repairing heavy equipment.
