Job Summary:
Act as liaison between Engineers, Production and Suppliers to maintain Supply Stream.
Coordinate Material needed for R&D builds.
Execute key components list and verify Program Schedule vs Material availability.
Plan and execute cut-in/cut-out process for new parts approved for use in production.
Responsible for the management and development of Supplier relations at tactical level as it pertains to materials or Supplier changes.
Evaluate risk
Stablish / improve the Supply Chain.
Execute Purchase Order to Pipeline new material
Ramp up /down of raw materials suppliers/inventory.
High level strategic analysis
Demonstrate working knowledge of Purchasing concepts and principles, including best practices
Develop and manage
Purchasing strategy
in line with Project timeline to mitigate delays due to Supply Chain related issues.
Cross-functional alignment
Report requirements to meet service and quality level objectives
Utilize Purchasing metric tracking process to manage timelines per established targets
Maintain visibility into demand targets to ensure supply continuity.
Execute a plan to avoid having too much of the old materials and having new material on-time to keep production going.
EOL Management
Secure parts for Spares / Break fix or Kitting.
Support EOL Tooling/Equipment
Analyze Material needs and propose alternatives.
Implement and ensure material availability for CO Implementation (CCB Approver).
