Manager, Project Management - Retail and Direct Banking

As a Manager level Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead projects that support new initiatives, especially in our growing third party/vendor management and governance space. You will be instrumental in both developing and sharing out key performance metrics, and leadingdetailed root cause analysis sessions when vendors aren't performing. You will work with smart and passionate people to influence change when needed. You will be challenged to excel and lead alongside the brightest talent in the industry. As part of the larger Retail Operations, Governance, Utilization and Execution (ROGUE) team, you will work to proactively manage Capital One's Retail Real Estate Portfolio through efficient, practical, and well-managed processes. The team is committed to driving business value by optimizing real estate transactions and employing sound management of third-party vendors. General Responsibilities: Developing and implementing projects to support key initiatives, including third party/vendor management and oversight
Developing and monitoring key performance metrics for vendors
Leveraging strong problem solving and influencing skills to ensure projects deliver on intent, and change is implemented when needed
Ensuring projects, such as new vendor setup, vendor risk mitigation, vendor performance monitoring, as examples, are being documented and communicated appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders, including Retail Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Enterprise Service Management, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of commitments
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
Excel in a dynamic, team based environment
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 3 Years of Vendor Management experience
At least 4 Years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications: Masters / MBA degree
5+ years of Project Management experience
5+ years of Vendor Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
