The

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

provides treatment to a variety of patients including dysphagia, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and voice while working closely with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate best outcomes. The SLP also provides weekend and holiday services to hospital patients on a rotating schedule. As the only outpatient clinic in Josephine County with speech language pathology services for adults, Asante Outpatient Rehabilitation (licensed as part of Asante Three Rivers Medical Center) provides the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients. Our therapists work primarily in the outpatient clinic in excellent facilities close to the hospital, treating a variety of patient diagnosis in a supportive and multidisciplinary setting. Training will be provided to SLP's who are not familiar within the inpatient setting. Our focus is on providing high quality, compassionate care to our patients using research supported best practices. Qualifications

Education Master's degree from an SLP program or equivalent is required. Experience None outside of licensure required. Strong CFY candidates will be considered. Required Licensure/Certifications SLP: Speech Language Pathologist licensed by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology required upon start - OR - a temporary SLP license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology (SLP-Temp) will be accepted for new hires awaiting permanent license. Permanent license must be obtained within 90 days. BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start. Preferred
