Asante is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our amazing team of Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Providers, and a staff of RNs and social workers in our Behavioral Health group. As part of Asante Health System, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is a 378-bed regional referral hospital that is a level II trauma center and offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
License / Certification: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners. Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) also required upon start. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Experience: At least three years experience in behavioral health. Ability to address clinical problems by analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting information through the use of creative and critical thinking skills while maintaining the human dignity in those we serve.
