Responsibilities
Classification: Non-Exempt / Non-Bargaining Position may be located remote. #LI-Remote Performs duties related to financial accounting, month end close process, account reconciliations primarily relating to Fixed Assets transactions such as retirements, transfers, and new additions Ensure depreciation is complete and accurate for all companies and adheres to company policy. Performs account reconciliations. Assists in the completion of accurate and timely month-end Asset Listings Prepares month-end journal entries as needed. Interacts with other departments and applies current company policies and procedures to account for fixed assets correctly. Performs miscellaneous data entry and administrative tasks such as creating reports, memos, correspondence and data extraction for special analysis. Participates during the development and testing of new systems or enhancements to the fixed assets systems. Assists in the identification, analysis, and documentation of internal controls related to the fixed assets. This includes identifying and documenting process improvements. Assists in preparing reports for property tax filings and working closely with the tax group. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with 2 - 3 years of related professional experience Solid knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles to general accounting functions Experience with month-end close and working with general ledger and subledgers Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and Word Knowledge of financial ERP systems; PeopleSoft experience a plus

Salary
