As a member of the Visual Insights and Automation team within Pharmacy Analytics and Consulting, you'll guide the adoption and implementation of groundbreaking tools and technologies. You’ll craft insightful, actionable reports and visualizations, shaping the future of analytics and making a difference in our strategic outcomes.
In your role as a Data Visualization Engineer within the Pharmacy Analytics and Consulting department, you will be instrumental in guiding the strategic direction by enhancing awareness and capabilities through Microsoft BI Stack, particularly Power BI. This will include mentoring colleagues and advancing our cloud-based analytics platform to create data visualization reports with Power BI. You will define objectives for both new and ongoing projects, making moderate to complex decisions independently. Your tasks may involve periodic updates to our data architecture, integrating new data to improve functionality and supporting our data warehouse data management to ensure its accessibility, reliability, and timeliness. Your responsibility extends to designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures, developing, and refining data models, and creating engaging, interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI. This will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to effectively gather and interpret data requirements.
Additional responsibilities will see you will manage the lifecycle your data visualization projects from inception to deployment and beyond, apply best practices in data visualization to enhance user engagement, and provide ongoing training and support to users in navigating Power BI tools. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization, especially Power BI developments, will be paramount and is essential to keeping our practices cutting-edge and efficient. Your role is not only strategic and problem-solving but also hands-on in from end-to-end and is crucial for the advancement of our department’s capabilities.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2 - 5 years of experience in data analytics, specifically in building user interfaces, visualizations, and algorithms.
Demonstrated experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
Excellent analytical skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to simplify complex data for insightful decision-making.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be an adaptable, collaborative team player with a proactive approach and a drive for continuous improvement.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Possesses a strong desire to enhance consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a data-centric role, focusing on data management and visualization.
Experience in the healthcare or managed care industry; pharmacy benefit management experience is a plus.
Proficiency managing data in cloud environments, specifically Azure Synapse Analytics.
Experience in data warehousing, including building and maintaining analytic data sets; experience with large healthcare data sets is a plus.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
Microsoft Power BI and/or Azure certifications.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$65,000 - $89,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
