CNC Programmer

Job Description Responsible for programming and nesting plasma tables, tube lasers, flat lasers, and press brakes using CAD and CAM software. This role requires: A strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. The programmer will maintain detailed documentation of all programming activities, including program files, setup sheets, and tooling information, to achieve production goals and ensure product quality. Experience and Qualifications Develop and implement programs and nests for plasma tables, tube lasers, flat lasers, and press brakes to meet production specifications. Experience with sheet metal and/or structural steel fabrication required. Maintain detailed documentation of all programming activities, including program files, setup sheets, and tooling information. Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues during production. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements. Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines. Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CAD and/or CAM software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD, Boost, OmniWIN). Basic knowledge of Global Shop or similar ERP systems. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
