Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner — Respiratory Therapy Unit — Kadlec Regional Medical Center Richland, WA
This is a combined posting for a Respiratory Care Practitioners and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Under the direction of the leadership of Respiratory Therapy services, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible to see that all treatments/procedures are carried out according to the provider orders. Respiratory therapy operates within all areas of the medical center and assignments will be made based on skills and abilities. Care is provided in areas of the medical center, including but not limited to NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department, Birth Center and general medicine. Respiratory Therapists may also work in the outpatient pulmonary rehab area, as well. Pulmonary Function Lab operates as a separate entity and requires additional specialized training.

Respiratory Care Practitioner
Shift details: 7 RCP openings - full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours per week), variable shift.
Required qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
National Provider PALS - American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution
Additional specialty certification upon hire
1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting.
Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner
Shift details: 2 Senior RCP openings - full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours per week), variable shift.
Required qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
National Provider PALS - American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
2 years of Respiratory care practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
Recent NICU, adult CCU and open heart experience.
