Our Oakland County client has exclusively engaged us to to identify an Interim Corporate Accountant. The Interim Corporate Accountant will be responsible for preparing and booking journal entries and maintaining the general ledger. In addition, the Interim Corporate Accountant will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts and researching any variances. The Interim Corporate Accountant will also be responsible for preparing work papers and supporting month end close, as well as internal and external audits.
The ideal Interim Corporate Accountantmust have 3 years of progressive accounting experience. At least ne year in public accounting accounting is highly desired. The ideal candidate must also have strong analysis experience, particularly variance analysis. In addition, the ideal candidate should have manufacturing, construction, real estate, or consulting industryexperience. Prior experience utilizing a large ERP, such as SAP or NetSuite is required. Strong Excel experience including pivot tables and v/h/xlookups is required. Advanced Excel, such as sumifs, indexing and macrosexperience is highly preferred. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or equivalent major required. CPA and/or MBA highly preferred.
