We are looking for a detail-oriented, solution-focused and collaborative Technical Product Manager to bring strong product and project management skills to our cross-functional product engineering teams. To be successful you must be able to manage all factors that determine these projects a success. These include researching solutions to challenging problems, identifying how to solve those problems, driving alignment with leadership for the solution, and finally ensuring the delivery within agreed upon time constraints and within cost and quality parameters. This requires someone who has high project ownership, agile expertise, and an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Own project features and/or themes through their creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
Effectively plan and prioritize work across multiple projects, and communicate priority to relevant stakeholders
Acts as a point of contact for your assigned teams, clearly and consistently communicating the needs of the organization.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage the tactical execution process, from creation to delivery, of product engineering projects.
Monitor scheduling, project flow, dependency mapping, planning and resource management from accepted concept through delivery for product engineering projects.
Facilitate effective and efficient meetings including all Scrum ceremonies and daily stand-ups.
Escalate and radiate impediments for resolution and assist with identifying and mitigating risk.
Maintain transparency into the team’s work through Agile tools and metrics. Track and communicate team progress. Leverage data to measure & monitor progress. (Burndown charts, etc.)
Engage multiple roles and stakeholders in critical discussions for consensus building.
Requirements:
You have a strong understanding of project management principles and appropriate agile methodologies and processes.
You have experience as a Product Owner and have managed a backlog
Experience working in a SaaS company with an agile environment.
You take ownership of problems and never shy away from a challenge.
You are flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively.
You are a self-learner, willing to learn new skills, industries, and platforms—including the most technical aspects and use cases at Lucidchart
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years experience in a project management role, preferably within engineering
2 years of product management experience on technical teams
Solid understanding engineering’s role within an organization
Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
Proficiency in project management software tools such as Asana and Jira
Certified Scrum Master
