Senior Project Manager - Water Resources Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood Professional Services, Inc.

is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Water Resources team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of diverse hydrologic and hydraulic stormwater modeling and drainage facility design experience supporting private and public sector projects. Candidates must have a willingness to perform a variety of tasks supporting various project types and project managers. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead a team in the preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for projects of various size and complexity

Prepare plan documents, technical reports and supporting design calculations Oversee preparation of detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation Produce high quality work and implement and maintain quality assurance procedures Coordinate with other disciplines, support services and subconsultants Coordinate with government agencies, utility providers or other outside agencies Coordinate with Clients depending on project role Identify applicable codes, standards or other design requirements Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates Perform field reviews and other assessments for use in design Participate in contract bidding, provide limited observation during construction, review submittals and RFIs Represent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agencies Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery Make decisions independently regarding various issues and methods Mentor, train and/or supervise the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel Prioritize and manage own workload and manage junior staff's work Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the service. Outgoing, friendly, approachable Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet project deadlines Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient with various stormwater modeling software and knowledgeable with drainage facility design and other related design elements Proficient in AutoDesk Civil3D and/ or MicroStation and Microsoft Office applications Proficient in the application of local and national design standards Competent technical skills required to complete engineering tasks Ability to delegate assignments and determine methods and procedures Required Experience

BS in Civil Engineering Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Texas 10+ years of progressive experience in the Water Resources Service and stormwater modeling/design This position requires travel to project sites and other Westwood offices throughout the United States Preferred Experience

Previous experience developing relationships with public sector clients Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and overall duties involved in managing a design team Strong presentation skills paired with the ability to coach and motivate others Previous supervisory experience Experience developing proposals and marketing strategies
