Digital Asset Coordinator
*This is a remote position, but the expectation would be to potentially come onsite for meetings, photo shoots, etc., a few times a month or as needed in Greensboro, NC*
As an integral part of Kontoor Brands Marketing Operations Department, the Digital Asset Coordinator functions across all phases of product detail photography (PDP) for owned E-commerce and the digital ecosystem. This role requires a highly-organized and skilled individual to work seamlessly across Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production of digital assets. The scope of this hands-on role covers the lifecycle of digital asset management including cleaning/retouching, cataloging/naming, organizing, distributing, and recording imagery.
Responsibilities: Pre-Production
Awareness and understanding of Photo Studio shoot schedule Develop digital asset naming convention based on scheduled shoots Implement naming convention for digital assets into the shot list
Production
Manage digital asset flow from photo studio team and overflow partner(s) Ensure digital asset receipt through proper organizing and cataloging of "selects" of PDP photography Prioritize assets for post production via shortest lead time/earliest in-market date
Post-Production
Lead cleaning/retouching efforts of digital assets per established guidelines Retouching to be completed both individually and through internal/outside parties Ensure each image is shot, cleaned, named and filed properly within schedule Oversee the creation and distribution of retailer-specific PDP photography by understanding and adhering to specific retailer requirements for cropping, background, etc.
Ongoing
Learn & leverage internal DAM for uploading of final files Work collaboratively with photographers, merchandisers, sales, DTC, and brand to communicate that all images are available, labeled correctly, and up to date Update the team as to the status of all images through a Master Tracker document Daily problem solving in regard to missing files, incorrect images, completed retouching, etc.
Technical Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in photography retouching, resizing, naming, and cataloging Excellent color vision for identifying image set discrepancies Photoshop Ninja - Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, specifically cleaning, clipping paths, color correcting, and retouching Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge and Capture One a plus Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator a plus Proficient Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel Experience/Education:
2 - 5 years demonstrated success working with digital asset management solutions and workflows in a complex creative environment BA or Associate Degree in Photography and or Graphic Design a plus Photo studio/agency/production work a plus Project management experience a plus Portfolio review - link in resume or other mechanism for review Understanding of core sports/art/fashion culture Apparel product knowledge a plus Why Kontoor Brands?
