In this role, you will act as Electrical/I&C for a testing facility including responsibility for the design, construction, and commissioning of the associated electrical/I&C and associated sub-experiments. This effort will support a Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) program and Mockup data will support licensing of MCRE (Molten Chloride Reactor Experiment). Your role will include interfacing with a team of scientists and engineers. You will identify, specify, and integrate custom instrumentation, heaters, and electro-mechanical components. You will own, self-perform, and/or manage contracts supporting the completion of detailed design. This includes implementation and commissioning of heaters, pumps, and instruments, etc. Additionally, you will interface with building electrical infrastructures to provide the electrical power distribution for experiments and tests. Responsibilities Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group of scientists and engineers to design, procure, install, and commission electrical/I&C systems. Apply engineering principles and best practices to prepare electrical design deliverables such as electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, termination schedules, cable routing and tray layouts, engineering reports, instrumentation and equipment specifications.
