Design Engineer

Client: Electric Manufacturing Company Title: Design Engineer II Location: Austin, Texas (5 day on-site) Duration: 6-month contract to conversion pay rate: $45/hr-$50/hr Day-Today Build panels that control heat for production floors to control thermal environments, build internal schematics, and build assembly drawings, and patterns on back plates for certain components. Must haves: 2-4 years of Design Engineering experience Proficient in 2D / 3D CAD software (SolidWorks Electrical is required). They must have SolidWorks ELECTRICAL. Design control systems utilizing UL508A - they need to have experience working on this type of control system. They must have UL experience. Plusses: Experience using DFMEA as a tool to guide your design. Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering
