Cogent Scientific, an insourced contract research organization in the Life Science industry, is looking for the right people to accomplish our Mission: to partner in the global effort to improve lives through innovative science with an experienced workforce.
As we continue to expand our footprint in the Midwest, Mountain Region, and West Coast areas, we have opened a Recruiting/Administrative Coordinator role to support our laboratory leadership team in Indianapolis, IN. The Recruiting/Administrative Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our growing operations.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sourcing and screening candidates for open roles.
- Scheduling meetings with candidates and internal/external customers.
- Conducting on-boarding tasks such as scheduling drug screens and background checks, arranging meals, ordering business cards, etc.
- Completing and sending essential documents to leadership team in a timely manner.
- Communicating consistently with candidates and hiring team.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS-Human Resources, Business Management or related field with 0-1 years recruiting and administrative experience preferred (internships count towards experience requirements). AS-Human Resources, Business Management or related field with 1-3 years administrative experience will also be considered.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrates excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
- The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
