2nd Shift CNC Lead

As a CNC Lead at Viable, you will be oversee the 2nd shift machine shop operations and operate machinery, including 3 and 5axis CNCs, a waterjet and a wire EDM, among others to produce components to specifications. Operators are needed for both day and night shifts. Responsibilities: Oversee 2nd shift machine shop staff Set up and operate milling CNC machines, Wire EDM, Water Jet, and other machining equipment involving precision tolerances Read blueprints to ensure parts are produced according to required tolerances and specifications Verification and documentation of part dimensions and tolerances as required for quality Visually inspect parts for surface details and machining finishes with close attention to detail Provide general upkeep and preventative maintenance on machines and other tools Qualifications: 10 years' CNC experience; lead or supervisory experience preferred High school degree or GED required Experience operating general shop machinery Knowledge of general shop math Knowledge of Multi-Axis machines, Lathes, Grinding, and Turning equipment Ability to use applicable inspection/measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers etc. as required Good communication skills and the desire to work in a team environment Exhibit close attention to detail, safety, and efficiency Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time The Company: The Innovation Center by Viable Engineering Solutions, LLC, is a world-class concept-to-completion center for the industrial market.
