Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant : Duluth, GA Large multi-billion dollar manufacturing company has an opening in their corporate accountant group for a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities: Assist with month end close process and ensure timely and accurate close procedures Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare monthly management reports and address questions Assist in quarterly and year end management reporting requirements Work to implement process improvements and automate manual processes Assist in implementation of internal controls, policy development and compliance Excellent analytical and technical skills including proficiency in U.S. GAAP Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (i.e., v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) Demonstrated career progression and job stability with strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments, projects, and roles Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 1 years of experience Intermediate experience using MS Excel, pivot tables and lookups Experience with a large ERP system is a plus, not required (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft etc) Must be well organization, eager to learn, strong work ethic, and good mathematical aptitude Salary $60000 - $80000
