Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

Set up machines by loading materials, adjusting settings, and verifying measurements to ensure accurate and efficient operation. Ensure all parts are deburred, finished, and prepared for assembly or shipping by following surface finish and quality guidelines. Adjust machine offsets, change tooling, and make real-time adjustments based on production needs or quality concerns. Perform routine inspections of parts during production using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances. Operate and maintain production and packaging equipment, ensuring smooth workflow. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments to equipment as needed to ensure continuous operation. Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and assembly.
• Proficiency in general production and machine operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Understanding of process and product.
• Experience operating machinery, including inspection and use of hand tools and forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work in close proximity to co-workers.
• Capability to work in areas with limited space.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
